INSEAD ranks top 3 globally in Financial Times' Executive Education Rankings 2018

Only business school in the world to have its MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Education programmes ranked in the top 3 in the respective categories of Financial Times’ latest rankings

INSEAD, the business school for the world, today announced that it has been ranked top 3 globally in the combined ranking of Financial Times’ (FT) Executive Education Rankings 2018. This signifies the school’s best result to date and strengthens INSEAD’s position as a top global provider of world-class Executive Education.

With this latest achievement, INSEAD becomes the only business school in the world to have its MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Education programmes ranked in the top 3 in the respective categories of Financial Times’ latest rankings.

Ilian Mihov, INSEAD Dean and Professor of Economics, says that, “We would like to thank all staff, faculty, organisational partners and participants who have contributed to these rankings leading to this year’s excellent results. We look forward to your strong support and continued engagement towards INSEAD’s success.” He added that, “Rankings are an important measure of the quality of our programmes, and these results reflects and reinforces INSEAD’s strong reputation and brand globally.”

In both customised and open-enrolment programmes rankings, INSEAD has performed exceptionally by being ranked in the top three in terms of ‘International Participants’ with its high percentage of participants from outside the school’s base country and region; and in ‘Faculty Diversity’ with the school’s strong diversity of its teaching staff according to nationality and gender.

The school has improved in the following key dimensions and ranking criteria for:

Open programmes

  •  ‘Follow-Up’: level of follow-up offered after participants returned to their workplaces, and networking opportunities with fellow participants
  • ‘Aims Achieved’: extent to which personal and professional expectations were met, and the likelihood that participants would recommend the programme

Customised programmes

  • ‘Preparation’: the provision of advance information on programme content and participant selection process
  •  ‘Future Use’: which measures the likelihood that clients (participants) would reuse INSEAD for other customised programmes in the future or to re-commission the same programme
  • ‘Value for Money’: clients (participants) rating of the programmes’ design, teaching and materials in terms of value for money

The top 10 in the combined Executive Education Rankings 2018 are: IESE (1st), followed by IMD, INSEAD, LBS, HARVARD, HEC Paris, Stanford, Ross, Said Oxford and CCL. For more details, visit here.
